Hey everyone we're off on another adventure! We took our brother-in-law's advice (thank you Don aka Country Squire) and created a blog called "Where in the World are Ray and Veronica". After learning to make wine on a work exchange in Tuscany, Italy for five weeks last year, we're off again, only not quite so far this time.
The house in El Segundo sold (finally after a 6 month escrow) and we're escaping the big city, and urban sprawl of Los Angeles.
We're off to the Central Coast of California to a town called San Luis Obispo. Clean air, wineries, minutes to the beach and hiking trails and a lake. What more could you ask for? Well, we'll find out and let you know when we get there. We've already checked out Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, Lake Lopez and a few wineries.
Our scheduled date to arrive is September 13th. We found a great little (very little, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom to be exact) house. A big jump from our 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, plus a guest house with a 4,000 bottle walk in wine cellar current house.
The new house is so cute, it has a great deck overlooking a river and is just a few short blocks away from the downtown area.
For now we're packing up and getting excited to breathe some clean air and downsize our crazy lives (well, not too much).
